Commercial Construction Project spanning over approximately 16 months. This was a partial new construction as well as a partial refurbishment of a Heritage site situated in the Historical Gardens region of Cape Town. The scope of works involved the refurbishment of their showroom, extending and interlinking 3 separate buildings into one. This building functions as the main showroom for Hertex in Cape Town, South Africa.

This shows the completed front of building for one of the main buildings for our client, HERTEX. The attached photograph shows completed customised joinery design in the form of tables and displays. These were manufactured specifically for our client by our expert joinery division. The open spaces and finishes create an overall ambiance that is required for this upmarket eatery.
One of the courtyard areas was designed to be an eatery. This shows what the finished design looked like.
These photographs were taken of the interior of the "Eatery" section of this showroom. The use of the open plan, glass doors and functional lighting creates a welcoming atmosphere.

One of the views of decking and staircases from an exterior courtyard. As can be seen the use of large doors and windows created a light and modern feel to this Heritage Site.
Completed design and interior space planning for our client's "Eatery" which formed part of their overall scope of works.
Another view of how effective space planning and furnishings can finish off a project and add to the overall look and feel that the client was wanting to achieve. Considering that a few months prior to this, the building was in a state of disrepair, the renovation, restoration and commercial construction process allowed for the effective use of light, space planning and modern look.
Our client, Hertex provided us with these images following a photoshoot. The custom-made tables and joinery work, as well as overall finishing to walls, floors and open space planning allows for this modern eatery to work.
