Porte Italia Interiors®, based north of Venice in Ronchi dei Legionari, has roots reaching decades into the past.

In the beginning, we conceived the idea that it could be possible to re-create furniture which in earlier centuries had enlivened Venetian interiors and could appeal to discriminating clients worldwide. Since then the horizons have expanded to include painted doors, panels, mirrors, sofas, chandeliers and even frescos.

The Company’s furniture items are modern presentations of the timeless golden age of painted furniture centered in the 18th C. Each piece is hand-painted and decorated, using original techniques and materials, by lacquerers and decorators well-schooled in their professions and passionate about their work.

Four-poster beds have historically anchored the product line, along with chests, tables, chairs, armoires, secretaries, vanities, settees and a host of accompaniments for the interior. Now you can add doors, mirrors, chandeliers and frescoes to the array of choices. The company offers special designs, dimensions and colors to accommodate designer preferences. The goal is to create furnishings artistically aged to blend with traditional antiques seamlessly. Or not. Should the client wish it, an entire room of Porte Italia®furnishings can be designed to accommodate colors and decorations desired.

We sell worldwide direct from our showroom workshops at the Trieste airport north of Venice. Advertisements and editorial mentions in Veranda, Florida Design, AD Russia, Ville & Casali, Identity, Financial Times and other trade publications in recent years have exposed our art and craftsmanship to thousands. 

We have displayed our creations at the most important international fairs: Maison et Objet in Paris, Decorex in London, Crocus in Moscow, Il Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan, Infdex in Doha Qatar, Exhibitions in Riyadh, Index Dubai and Abu Dhabi. We have had magnificent displays in an exclusive historical residenceon the Gran Canal and in the vicinity of the Guggenheim Museum in Venice.
