A double storey house in a beautiful tree lined Estate in Johannesburg built in the early 90's. Bought by a single owner who needed to move in straight away. No structural renovations were made except for moving the pool to a new position.
Flooring, kitchen and bathrooms were kept in tact. All walls, ceilins and doors were painted an Earthcote Tennis Court White and the fireplace hearth was painted a mid grey called Bleached Wash Table. The boundary wall was painted from a dark green to a lighter grey called Clifton Cliffs.
All new door furniture was sourced and fitted. And new and unusual lighting rewired to exterior and interior of house. Landscaping was part of the renovation which echoed the minimalism indoors. All new furniture was sourced and installed along with black and white photographic prints—which told the entire story and provided a different mood to each area. Total cost ZAR 1.5million.
