Wood may be a classical building material, but the natural beauty of wood can always find a place in any architectural setting. This unusual pergola design has straight lines, but uses the richness and warmth of wood to sidestep the often cold and impersonal feel of contemporary settings.

The contrasts in colour and texture is further explored in the furniture which utilises HDP and wood in the same manner, whilst the outdoor curtains soften the lines with a touch of romanticism.

The pergola is fitted with yet another contemporary feature in the retractable roof, which is controlled via remote, or through the home automation system, creating a seamless transition from indoors to outdoors at the press of a button.

The result is a beautiful, welcoming outdoor living space where many fond memories will be created in the company of friends and family.
