The client’s brief was for a hard wearing, cost effective, upmarket interior for his 2 new apartments that drives short term rentals getting build in De Waterkant. As he was situated in Dubai for work I was working a long side the architects, choosing all the finishes throughout from lovely herringbone oak flooring to morrocan inspired cement tiles for the bathrooms and kitchens. We decided on a design that is eclectic with an Industrial feeling that brings in all the elements from around South Africa.
