A fine dining restaurant on the edge of Naval Hill in the Franklin Nature Reserve that is rooted within the region to which it belongs. The building was not designed to attract visual attention, but rather to humbly merge with its surrounding and acknowledge the existing landmark. The architecture is non-stylistic, it responds to site conditions such as; climate, contours, adjacent structures, accesibility and views resulting in a site specific building. A broad roof, angled with the slope of the hill, sheilds the restaurant from the western sun and covers an outdoor deck area.
