It is possible to design a home that is close to nature but when the home itself is situated in a natural surrounding, the design becomes even better. This lovely home in Bangalore has been designed by De Square and the architects have invested time and energy in converting this simple space into something that is natural, rustic and exceptional. One of the recurring features in the design of his home has been the use of natural elements in abundance. Apart from that, you can also see how well the design has been adapted to the existing natural landscape.

Balance in shape

By using contrasting colours on different levels, the architects have created a perfect and balanced look for the exteriors. The black grill for the main gates is elegant and the design keeps it simple and modest.

Elegant look

The home has a majestic presence and viewed from the outside; you can see how it has been elegantly designed on two levels. With the use of many elements such as brick, metal, and stone, the architects have put together a charming outer façade for the home.

Lovely sit out

This is a wonderful area at the entrance of the home. Making sure that the natural air and light can come in without any obstruction, the architects have used large pillars as support structures. The dark colour granite for the floor contrasts the tone and colour in the walls

Natural gardens

It may be easy to create a garden but this space has been designed to look like it has always existed this way. The fairly large tree in the garden occupies center stage as the lawns and other small shrubs contribute to the natural landscaping. A small stone walkway adds interest to space.

Ideal space for manmade things

Making sure that it is comfortable for the homeowners, the design has been kept as minimalistic as possible. The outside area is perfect to park your vehicle. There is an emphasis on using elements that do not obstruct the natural flow of things. Here, the focus is on the natural surroundings.

Privacy

Constructing a wall obstructs everything natural and by using beams of metal, the architects have worked around this problem effectively. The metal curtain provides privacy without obstructing the air. The floor also contributes a lovely rustic look to space.

Simplistic living room

This is a simplistic living room and what makes this space really attractive is the rustic brick wall. It has an old-world charm like none other. Also, thanks to the bright rust colour that it radiates, everything in the room gets a wonderful natural glow. Low furniture and the simple balcony doors complete the look. Adding a fan and using small ventilation vents near the ceiling make this a comfortable space.
