Are you familiar with the name Boragui Design Studio? Located in Porto, Portugal, Boragui Design Studio is an interior architectural firm consisting of a young and dynamic team bent on creating top-notch design solutions for all types of projects. In addition, the company also specialises in tailor-made furniture, further cementing their status as one of Portugal’s most sought-after experts in the interior design field.

Today, we invite you to partake in a sneak peek at six of Boragui’s most prominent designs. Styled up in the modern design, these spaces are sophisticated, comfortable, bright and totally dedicated to enhancing a deluxe lifestyle.

Let’s get inspired!

1. A sleek living room

We start off with a modern living room clad in a soft, earthy colour palette of gold, greys, and dusty yellows – three tones perfect for setting up an ambience of elegance. Taking centre stage in this space is that L-shaped sofa which looks super inviting thanks to its plush pillows and inviting throw – the ideal reading corner, if you will.

But don’t overlook the accessories that further help to up the style factor, particularly the wall art boasting symmetrical designs, the striking floor lamp and the circular coffee table.

Subtle, spacious, and super stylish!

2. The dining room

Gathering with friends and family around a decadent meal is one of life’s ultimate pleasures. And if we get to do it in a fantastically designed space, even better.

This dining room is all about combining style and comfort with its visually pleasing wooden-and-iron table and Scandinavian-style chairs. A slim, open bookcase in the back takes care of storage and displaying a few keepsakes while a dreamy landscape view floods in via the generous windows and glass doors.

Decidedly a bit more industrial and formal than our previous living room, but by no means less gorgeous!

3. Speaking of the Scandinavian style

We don’t blame these designers for returning to the gorgeousness that is the Scandinavian style for this space, as there is just something about mixing timber surfaces, soft neutral colours, and a dash of colour and pattern to inspire one’s inner designer.

And this might be a good point to pause and remind you that Boragui also treats their clients to bespoke furniture pieces, meaning you are guaranteed your dream furnishings for your dream space.

4. Another take on a stunning dining room

From a dining space where all the pieces perfectly match in tone and tint to one which gets more playful with colours, this modern design is by no means less visually arresting or comfy. Mixing shapes and styles, these results are more open, light and jovial.

And we are especially crazy about those unique-looking chairs which put a deluxe spin on any dinner party (or informal meal) being enjoyed in here.

5. A stunning welcome

It’s not always easy coming up with a splendid design for an entryway, but that doesn’t mean we can just let our guard down and randomly pick out pieces for a thrown-together look.

This entryway, for instance, is the perfect space for a top-notch first impression, and it makes interior design look so easy: a wooden console table to help keep clutter at bay; a matching mirror adding some contrast in relation to shapes; a stylish table lamp; a potted plant for colour and freshness; and an oversized piece of wall art that wows with elegance.

6. Creative colours

Last but certainly not least, this bedroom beautifully combining the modern and Nordic styles. But it’s this space’s colour palette that really inspires us: an overall neutral backdrop (which is perfect for making any room seem bigger and more open) paired with a dash of warm(ish) timber tints, fresh greens, and some fabulous fuchsia (notice how this hot colour splendidly contrasts with the cooler greens).

Black-and-white portraits on the focal wall ensure character without distracting from the bed, which is clearly the star attraction in this room!
