This residential project is a spectacular example of modern design. The designers, Shritee Ashish & Associates, Interior Architects in New Delhi have truly outdone themselves with the choice of unique furnishings, décor pieces and some truly surprising design ideas. The unique colour scheme on this set of armchairs is absolutely stunning. We love the combination of olive green with this rust orange. The armchairs are upholstered with a soft suede material and have short wooden legs for support. The glass and wooden table in the middle has a clean design.
The unusual colour scheme used for the bedroom is a pretty good choice. Not many people prefer dark colours, but the designers have taken a big risk. However, everything comes together nicely, with the leather table at the foot of the bed, the entire wall covered with upholstery and the black bed linen. Again, the designers have chosen to go down the road less taken. The bathroom design, instead of being conservative, is over the top but in a good way. The combination of tiles with various different designs forms the perfect whole in this bathroom. The bathroom is furnished properly with all the necessities.
And then we come to the bedroom. The all round wood panelling is our absolute favourite. From the wall behind the bed to the rest of the walls, the room looks like a hotel room with the elegant wood panelling. The wardrobe doors take up one entire wall. The sliding doors, fitted with mirrors, make it easy to access the wardrobe. The bed is set on a low, white, wooden bedframe.
The living room is stunning. The combination of modern art and industrial style finish on the wall is spectacular. The white leather sofa, populated with extremely colourful throw pillows is the right addition to this place. The dining table and chairs also create a great contrast with the white table and black chairs. There is also a small carved wooden and marble temple placed on one side of the living room. From here, you can also see the beautiful polished wooden door that leads into the house.
Let’s take a close at the dining table up close. The white table has a designer marble base with a white top. There is a glass pane on the top that brings out the marble’s effect. The black suede chairs are specially designed for this home. The beautiful chandelier hanging over the dining table provides a soft glow to the entire area.
