Step 1: Creating the origami

Use paper that is durable but easy to fold. To copy our origami, simply follow the steps in this video

Step 2: Change up the colours

Use different colours and different shapes for this project. A minimum of 5 will do.

Step 3: Cut the top

Next we take the scissor and cut the top end off of our origami.

Step 4: Insert the string

We use some glue to attached the string to the origami

Step 5: Use a strong support base

For our DIY origami support base, we used a branch from a tree. Make sure that it's slightly curved, but also not too heavy. Use a nail to support the base to the wall.

Step 6: Use different length strings

Use a different length of string for each origami, as this will make it even more creative and fun to look at and creates variety.

Step 7: Origami decoration project completed

Voila! This is the completed project! Hang it in your bedroom, window frame, or anywhere suitable. Simply use your creativity and imagination.
